The Dan Cox Legacy Fund was created to financially support the organizations that were near and dear to Dan’s heart. (Other than his family!)

Dan was raised in Lindenwald and was the second of five boys. Growing up in a big family and tight knit community he learned the importance of giving back. Shortly after high school Dan started working for Champion Paper and married his wife, Debbie. Dan and Debbie would go on to have three kids who all went St. Ann Catholic Elementary as well as Stephen T.  Badin Highschool.

Dan was an integral part of the CYO community, where it was evident that second to be a family man, Dan was called to coach—and coach he did! Starting as a 24-year-old with his father, Bill Cox, for the St. Ann Bruins football team. This began a 35-year coaching career as he transitioned over to Badin in the late 90’s

The Dan Cox Legacy Fund was started to celebrate Dan’s life as well as provide financial support to organizations and charities that meant something to him. Today, Dan’s legacy lives on through those who participate and benefit.
